Better than magic: Canada Post to deliver new Harry Potter book to fans on its release

Pottermania is back and July 16^th is going to be a busy day for Canada Post as it delivers the sixth Harry Potter book - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by British author J.K. Rowlings - to the tens of thousands of children across the country who pre-ordered it online. Both Chapters.indigo.ca and Amazon.ca have been accepting online orders since January 2005, as anticipation is running high as the magical day approaches!

The July 16 release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be one of the year's largest events in the book industry. Canada Post Xpresspost service will ensure the Saturday, July 16 delivery of pre-ordered books in 21 major urban centres and extended delivery areas in selected cities across the country.

This isn't the first time Canada Post has been called on to make magic happen for Harry Potter fans. On Saturday, June 21 2003, Canada Post successfully delivered Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to thousands of Canadian fans of all ages. At that time, the corporation worked with Chapters.indigo.ca and Amazon.ca, and will again work with these two market leaders to meet their delivery needs.
