The promo code grants 100% off a package that weighs up to 5 kg/11 lbs. (actual or volumetric). You will be charged for any incremental weight above 5 kg/11 lbs. An Expedited ParcelTM can have a max girth of 3 m/118 in or up to 30 kg/66 lbs.
The promo code grants 100% off a Tracked PacketTM – USA. This product can have a max girth of 900 mm/35 in or up to 2 kg/4.6 lbs. If your package's actual weight and dimensions are greater than these product specifications, Tracked PacketTM – USA will not appear as an option in Canada Post Snap ShipTM.
No. The promo codes only cover the cost of shipping. Options and surcharges (such as insurance, COD, signature, oversize, unpackaged, etc.) are not covered.
You must provide a valid credit card number to create a shipping label. If your package does not meet the promotion's requirements, you may incur charges during the verification process (for example, if the Expedited ParcelTM weighs more than 5 kg in actual or volumetric weight equivalent). These charges will be billed to the credit card.
No, our system cannot process gift cards. You’ll need to use a standard credit card to take advantage of Free Shipping Tuesdays.
No. We only accept standard credit cards.
Yes. If you are registered with Pitney Bowes and have a supplier account, you will be able to use the supplier account as a method of payment in Canada Post Snap ShipTM.
If you have not yet shipped your package, you can cancel your shipping label and the charge will be removed. If the promo code you intended to use is still active, you will be able to create a shipping label with it. The code only works on the day that it is issued, from 12 am to 11:59 pm ET. You will not be offered a new code or a credit for another shipping label.
If your item has already shipped, you are not eligible for a refund.
If you shipped an Expedited ParcelTM within Canada that weighed more than 5 kg in actual weight or volumetric weight equivalent, you were charged for the extra weight. The first 5 kg of weight were free.
You were charged if you added any options or surcharges to the package, such as adding a signature or shipping an oversized item.
You were charged during the verification process if the actual weight of the package did not match the declared weight and exceeded the weight restriction.
No. The promotion only covers the cost of one free outbound Expedited ParcelTM and one free outbound Tracked PacketTM – USA on each Tuesday in October. It does not cover the cost of returns.
One-time, on-demand pickup is free where available in Canada Post Snap ShipTM if the pickup is requested anytime in the month of October (October 1 – 31, 2022). See if your address is eligible for a pickup by visiting www.canadapost.ca/smbpickup.

After you’ve entered all your package details for your order, enter one of the promo codes on the Snap Ship “Your cart” page beside the package you would like to apply the promo code to. The Expedited ParcelTM promo code will only work on one Expedited ParcelTM in your cart and the Tracked Packet™– USA promo code will only work on one Tracked Packet™– USA. In the right hand “Price” column, click “Add promo code” and input your Free Shipping Tuesdays code. If you don’t see “Add promo code,” you’ve signed in with the wrong type of account. Ensure that you are signed in with your Canada Post Solutions for Small Business™ account username and password. Click “apply” to activate your promo code.
You can create up to 50 shipping labels per order in Snap Ship, but the Free Shipping Tuesdays promo codes on each Tuesday can only be applied to one Expedited ParcelTM and one Tracked Packet™– USA in your order. Every Tuesday in October, you can apply one promo code to cover the cost of an Expedited Parcel™.
No. The promo codes only work on Tuesdays in October, from 12 am to 11:59 pm ET. They do not work on any other day.
Here are some actions that may help:
A confirmation pop up will indicate that the promo code has been applied. You can create both Domestic and U.S. labels at the same time, apply both promo codes to orders and pay once.
Refer to the “Promotional Discount” field under “Charges” to verify that the promo code was applied to the transaction (there will be a negative amount).
The total will be $0 for qualifying orders – unless any options or surcharges were applied to the order, or the domestic order weighed more than the maximum weight for the promotion (5 kg).
The promo code is effective from 12 am to 11:59 pm ET on the Tuesday that it is issued. If you did not use it during that designated time period, take advantage of future codes during future Free Shipping Tuesdays!

Yes. The offer has a limit of an actual or volumetric weight of 5 kg for the free Expedited ParcelTM. You will be charged for any extra weight at regular rates.
An Expedited ParcelTM can have a max girth of 3 m/118 in or up to 30 kg/66 lbs.
Tracked Packet™– USA has a weight limit of 2 kg.
Yes. There are minimum and maximum lengths, widths and heights for Tracked Packet™– USA. The girth of the item cannot exceed 900mm. Review size restriction details.
Volumetric weight is a calculation using the size (length, width and height) of a package. On Free Shipping Tuesdays, you can ship one Expedited ParcelTM that weighs 5 kg or less volumetric or actual weight to anywhere in Canada for free. If your package exceeds 5 kg, you will be charged for the extra weight.

No. You can only ship your package within Canada or the U.S. using the Free Shipping Tuesdays promo codes.
Yes. A Canada Post retail agent can scan a code (found in your email receipt) on your smartphone or tablet. You will have up to 5 days to print the label. Bring your package to the counter and request assistance to print the label. Note: Retail outlets can only print out non-thermal labels.
Yes. The lower section of your email receipt contains a link and/or customer service phone number that you can call to cancel your label. You can also learn how to cancel your label. If you used a promo code, you will not be able to apply it to another package.
Yes. Within your Canada Post Snap Ship™ preferences, click on “label printing.” From there you can reprint your labels and select either regular or thermal.
No. You must create your shipping labels on Tuesdays, during Free Shipping Tuesdays, but you may print the labels within 5 days. You can deposit your shipments in a postal box or at a postal office on another day.
When sending to the U.S., all mail containing merchandise must include a customs declaration form. You must also make sure that the documentation and information is complete, accurate and legible. Failure to do so may prompt us to return the item to the sender at your expense. It could also result in delays, non-delivery, fines or customs seizures.

Create your online business profile
Once you have your Solutions for Small Business customer number, create your online business profile. If you use any other online Canada Post services, then you will need to use a different email address when you create your Solutions for Small Business business profile. Examples of other Canada Post services include FlexDeliveryTM, My Mailbox, or Mail Forwarding.
Try signing in at Canadapost.ca using your small business online business profile credentials. If you don’t know your login credentials, try a password reset.
If our system indicates that you don’t have an online business profile, you’ll need your Solutions for Small Business customer number and postal code to create an online business profile.

Send a free Expedited Parcel™ within Canada of up to 5 kg. (actual or volumetric weight). Shipments that exceed this limit will be charged for the extra weight at regular rates.

If you have a Solutions for Small Business (formerly VentureOne) card, but haven’t created an online business profile, please do so now. In addition to Free Shipping Tuesdays, you’ll get great discounts on shipping and marketing when you transact online.
