Santa letter tips for caregivers

    Santa letters made easy

The postal elves help Santa with his mail and make sure that every letter gets a reply. We have letter templates as well as tips to get a personalized response from the North Pole.

    Encourage the magic this season

    It’s free

Santa loves reading all of the letters that are sent to him - pictures and questions are welcome! If a child needs help getting started, an adult can download a letter template.
Please mail all letters from one family in the same envelope. Be sure to include your return address and drop the letter in any Canada Post mailbox. No stamps are required to mail a letter to Santa in Canada.

    We answer in your language

Santa answers letters in more than 35 languages, including Braille.

    All countries are welcome

Send your letter early and we will deliver Santa’s reply letter around the world. It’s a long way to the North Pole and back! In order to make sure Santa receives your letter, please use an international stamp from your country to arrive to Canada. Don’t forget to include a return address!

We cannot guarantee delivery dates for international letters, but Santa does respond to all letters he receives.

No one is too old for Santa

We offer a variety of downloadable templates for older and younger children.

    Download a holiday template letter

We have letter templates for all ages. Encourage children to include their favourite sports, school subject or activity, jokes, or holiday plans in their letters.
