Depending on whether or not a production uses Canada Post branding, additional details are needed:
1. Productions that do not use Canada Post branding:
- Are you requesting to film interiors, exteriors or both?
- Do you require parking spaces for production vehicles?
- Do you require land space for staging support areas such as tents, trailers or cast and crew prep?
- Are cosmetic changes to the outside of the facility required? For example, removing a Canadian flag, covering Canada Post signage or adding snow or Christmas decorations.
- If using an area inside of the facility, what are your requirements?
2. Productions that do use Canada Post branding:
- Is the production rated PG?
- How will the Canada Post branding be used?
- Provide any relevant portions of the script where Canada Post is shown or mentioned.
Please note:
- Canada Post will require you to sign its form agreement.
- You will be asked to provide an insurance certificate identifying the Canada Post Corporation as an added insured. The amount of coverage is dependent on the request.
The cost of using a Canada Post facility
- The daily cost of using a facility is based on whether access is required to the interior, exterior or both.
- Payment is made out to the Canada Post Community Foundation on behalf of the facility being used. This is not a donation, and a tax receipt will not be provided.
- The daily cost does not include any overtime pay required to have an employee(s) serve as chaperon during the film shoot. This usually only applies for shoots inside our facilities.
