Negotiations updates

Dear Customer,

Earlier today, Canada Post tabled a global offer to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

About the improved offer
The offer builds on the global offer presented on September 7, 2018. It improves wages and benefits, makes no changes to the pension and addresses many of the workload issues that employees face in handling more and more parcels every year. For rural and suburban mail carriers (RSMC), the improved pay and other changes in this offer go beyond the improvements stemming from the pay equity ruling on September 20, 2018.

Ongoing talks
Talks are ongoing with the help of a mediator. The postal service remains fully operational. Canada Post continues to work toward a negotiated settlement with CUPW.
