Update on Rankin Inlet Post Office

November 24, 2022

The Rankin Inlet Post Office is currently experiencing a delay with Regular and Expedited parcels; Priority and Xpresspost parcels continue to move as expected. We are prioritizing lettermail to ensure that your important mail and documents continue to arrive in a timely manner. As the post office is processing large volumes of packages and space to sort and store is frequently at capacity, we ask that you pick up your packages in a timely manner to allow us to add more product to serve more customers.

We understand the concerns being raised about your postal services and the mail items you are waiting to receive. Our team members at your post office are also waiting to receive the mail to process it as quickly as possible for you. We appreciate the patience and understanding you have shown us. Delivery times are based on normal delivery conditions, and are subject to change without notice. We may change or suspend the on-time delivery guarantee during peak period due to causes beyond our reasonable control.

Our post office team asks that customers track their packages. You may do so by calling 1-866-607-6301, or visiting Canada Post - Track a package by tracking number / Postes Canada - Repérer un colis au moyen du numéro de repérage.

Please note that aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Thank you for staying patient and keeping the post office friendly.
