How do I install AddressComplete?
It's easy and free to set up your first installation. Once you sign up you'll be guided through the steps required to install AddressComplete on a website:
- Enter the URL where you will install AddressComplete.
- Copy and paste the code snippet into the HTML source code of your web page and upload it to your server.
- Load the page in your browser and follow the steps to match your address fields to the appropriate AddressComplete fields.
- From your Dashboard, under “Valid URLs”, enter the URLs where you plan to use AddressComplete. This is an added security measure to prevent anyone else from using your account.
Don’t forget to buy a credit plan before your free trial expires. Top up your account.

Can I customize my AddressComplete installation?
You can customize your installation using the following settings:
- Countries limiter — limit address lookups to countries you specify.
- Find country by IP — use the IP address of users to determine their country.
- Single language — limit AddressComplete to a language of your choice.
- Valid IP addresses — limit AddressComplete to specific IP addresses/users.

How can I secure my AddressComplete installation?
To make sure your installation is secure, configure the following settings in your AddressComplete dashboard:
- Daily limit — the maximum spend allowed in a day for an installation.
- Valid URLs — the website addresses on which your installation can be used.
- IP limit — the maximum number of requests allowed by any IP address in a day. Individual IP addresses can be excluded from this restriction if desired.

Why did I get an email saying my AddressComplete credit has run out?
This means your account balance needs to be topped up. You will receive emails when your credit balance is at 20%, 10%, 5% and zero. Top up your account now.
You can also request automatic top-ups so that your account never runs out of credit. Contact us.

Why did I get an email saying my installation has reached its daily limit?
Your AddressComplete installation has a setting that allows you to set a daily limit for the credit that can be consumed from your account per day. This is a security feature to help protect your credit from being used up too quickly. You can adjust the daily limit from your AddressComplete dashboard.
When your credit limit has been reached for the day, you will get an email that states “The installation has reached its daily limit. Please check your settings or wait until tomorrow.”

Why did I get an email saying AddressComplete could not be used from a certain website?
Within your installation settings you have the option to specify the website addresses on which you will install AddressComplete. This is a security feature that prevents someone else from using your AddressComplete account.
If you received an email that states “This installation cannot be used from this website — the security settings may not include this domain” it means an attempt was made to use your AddressComplete service on an unauthorized website. The website address will be provided in the email.

Why did I get an email saying AddressComplete could not be used from a certain IP address?
Within your installation settings you have the option to limit AddressComplete to accept requests only from specified IP addresses. This is a security feature that allows you to restrict who can use your AddressComplete service.
If you received an email that states, “This installation cannot be used from this IP address. The security settings may not include this IP address”, it means an attempt was made to use AddressComplete from another IP address. The IP address in question will be provided in the email.
