Refund for spoiled meter impressions

To be eligible for a refund, spoiled postage meter impressions must meet the following criteria:

  • Dated within the past 12 months
  • Completely legible
  • Separated by denomination and by the postage meter number (customer must sort them)
  • Unused (still on the original envelopes, wrappers or labels)
  • Not manually altered

Minimum refund amount

Refunds are only issued for spoiled meter impressions totaling more than $5.00. We recommend collecting at least $20.00 worth before requesting a refund.
