Recognized mail presortation software vendors

Find software to presort your Canada Post Smartmail Marketing™ mailing lists.

Canada Post recognizes a number of vendors who supply products and services to presort mail for processing at our facilities. Working with software that has already been evaluated and recognized is easier and more convenient than developing your own.

How does a vendor get recognized?

Through our Software Evaluation and Recognition Program (SERP), we evaluate the ability of software vendors to meet our mail presortation requirements, including:

  • Correct delivery modes assigned to each address
  • Grouping sequences defined
  • Label information
  • Grouping sequences within containers defined
  • Label information for containers

Presortation software packages

Below is the current list of presortation software that is recognized by Canada Post.

Please note that information about each vendor has been provided by the vendor itself, and Canada Post is not responsible for the accuracy of that information.

Canada Post Corporation recognizes the presortation software on this list. These packages were evaluated by the Software Evaluation and Recognition Program (SERP) using the criteria established by Canada Post. Please note that recognition is merely a statement that Canada Post has evaluated the software and found it to meet the criteria referred to above. Canada Post makes no guarantees or warranties about any of the recognized software, and does not especially endorse any of the corresponding vendors.

This List of Recognized Software details the software packages that have met or exceeded the requirements of SERP. Software evaluation is limited to specific testing which evaluates the software's ability to meet the presortation specification requirements but does not involve any testing or evaluation of any additional features or function that a developer may have incorporated into its software. The program does not evaluate any subjective criteria such as speed of operation, user friendliness or customer support.

The software names shown on this list have been supplied by the vendors. Canada Post expressly does not warrant the validity or the registrability as a trademark of the name provided by the vendor, and does not warrant the right of the vendor to use or sell the software.
