You can send money online or from any post office. Transfers sent to a bank account are deposited automatically. If the recipient is picking up cash, provide them with the MoneyGram™ reference number.

Important

The recipient’s name must match their ID exactly (for example, “John D. Smith” is not the same as “John David Smith”).

Sending money from a post office

  1. Estimate the cost

    You can get a free quote for your money transfer fee from the post office. Alternatively, you can also use the MoneyGram cost estimator to calculate fees based on the amount and destination.  

  2. Visit a post office

    Bring the following:

Start online, pay at the post office

  1. Fill out the transfer details online and you will receive a barcode.

  2. Bring the barcode (printed or on your mobile device) to a post office.

  3. Pay with cash or debit.

Send money online

  1. Go to MoneyGram.

  2. Enter recipient details, the amount and the delivery method.

  3. Pay with a debit card (credit card payment is not accepted).
