Home Pickup

Pickups occur Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (excluding weekends and statutory holidays).

Yes. You can cancel your pickup in the app until 7 am on the day of your scheduled pickup.

Yes. Right now, the Canada Post app is the only way to schedule a home pickup. If the service is available in your area, you’ll see Schedule a home pickup on the app’s home screen.

You can download and install the official Canada Post app for iOS and Android through the App Store or Google Play.

If you live in a single-family home with a private entrance (detached, semi-detached, row or stacked units), you can:

• Leave your prepared package(s) in a safe, visible spot near your door (at your own risk)
• Or hand them directly to the mail carrier

If you live in a multi-unit building with a shared entrance, you’ll need to be home to hand your package(s) to the mail carrier.

Each package must be securely packed in a box or envelope and have a Canada Post shipping label attached.

Each package can weigh up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).

Each package may have a:

• Longest side of no more than 200 cm (78.7 in.)
• Combined length and girth of no more than 300 cm (118 in.)

Girth is calculated as: (height × 2) + (width × 2).
