My community mailbox key or lock are not working

If one of your community mailbox keys is not working, try your spare key. If you still can’t open your compartment, request a new lock and new key by following the steps below.

  1. Request your new keys

    Open a support ticket below. Be sure to describe in detail the issue you are having with your lock or key.

  2. Pick up your keys

    You’ll receive a notice card when your keys are ready. Bring it along with government-issued photo ID to the post office indicated on your notice card.

Canada Post does not maintain locks and keys for condo, strata, apartment or business mailboxes. Contact your building manager or superintendent for keys.
