Meet the judges panel for the 2023 edition of the contest:

As the Managing Lead in charge of leading Digital Main Street, Darryl has extensive experience working within public and private partnerships, developing outcome-based programming focused on technology adoption and community building/planning.
Digital Main Street (a program created by the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas) exists to help promote and create healthier, sustainable and economically thriving main street communities and Business Improvement Areas through supporting main street business growth with the adoption of digital tools and technologies.
- Business Development
A graduate of the University of Montreal in Sociology/Advertising/Marketing, Josée has been working in the relationship marketing field for more than 20 years. She is currently part of the Business Development team at Kopel, where she handles major accounts. Her expertise has made her an invaluable resource in her field.
In this role, she leverages her experience to help her clients address their marketing needs through customized communications projects.
In recent years, Josée has been a speaker for undergraduate students in Marketing at the University of Montreal, for Association Marketing Québec, as well as for Canada Post.
She has also been involved with the Association Marketing Québec (AMQ) for several years as a board member and Vice-President, Events.
Finally, over the course of her career, Josée has had the opportunity to work on various projects with large-scale companies, such as Aeroplan, Desjardins, belairdirect, Nespresso, Aldo, and others. She currently leverages that experience to advise her clients in the insurance, telecommunications, and retail sectors.

Geena Jackson is a proud member of the Frog Clan from the Shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia who carries the traditional name, Tsetasiya (‘Sa-TAS-ee-ya’). After over 20 years as an Indigenous entrepreneur, business development champion and leader in economic development circles, Geena launched her own media empowerment company, Sparkly Frog Clan Productions, Inc. She had one goal in mind – to turn her long-held dream of putting some Indigenous twists into the world of business reality TV shows by creating a new series that would showcase the stories, strength and diversity of Indigenous entrepreneurs. Geena and her team have set the stage to deliver an educational, entertaining and inspirational reality TV series with real Impact that will reward, amplify and elevate the profile of Indigenous entrepreneurs across the nation.
As a passionate advocate for Indigenous rights and self-determination with 13 years in leadership roles such as Economic Development Officer, Trust Fund Manager, procurement and Major Capital Projects leader for the Squamish Nation, Geena understands the importance of aligning Indigenous entrepreneurs with people and programs who help them turn their dreams into reality. Geena has helped over 550 Indigenous entrepreneurs across Coast Salish communities to launch, stabilize and expand their own business.

Paul has dedicated his professional career to shaping the future of the consumer goods, grocery, marketplace and healthcare industries within the public and private sector. He is an influential and forward-thinking digital and ecommerce executive, and proven thought leader in operating businesses, strategy, partnerships and digital innovation.
Paul is currently the Head of Verticals & Merchandising for eBay Canada. He supports Canadian small businesses as they grow globally and works with the enthusiast Collectibles community and vertical as part of eBay’s focus category.
Paul has an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills and has proven his ability to guide an organization through the unknown in building and promoting industry-disrupting solutions by virtue of his executive skillset.
Paul holds a B.Comm from Toronto Metropolitan University, and an MBA from Queen’s University.
