If you don’t already have a service ticket, please contact Canada Post customer service.

    • If you are not the sender, we can't investigate your appeal. This is because it is the sender who paid Canada Post (or other postal administration) for the service. If you are the receiver, ask the sender to submit a claim, and if not satisfied, the sender can send us an appeal. If the sender is not cooperating, open an online dispute with the web platform where you bought the item.

    • Your tracking number can be found on your receipt or on your package. Tracking numbers are typically 13 alphanumeric characters ending in CA, or 16 digits. Learn more about tracking numbers.

        • Appeals for requests to find lost mail items must include a detailed description of the contents (colour, brand, model, size, photos if available, etc.).
