Neighbourhood Mail

Neighbourhood Mail is one of Canada Post's targeted direct mail services. It consists of printed and non-printed matter such as product samples that are not addressed to specific delivery addresses in Canada.

This fully featured Neighbourhood Mail application allows you to create mailings with multiple deposit dates (partial mailings) as well as multiple deposit locations (downstream).

To process an Neighbourhood Mail mailing you must complete the following steps:

  1. Create a New Mailing from the Menu File, Menu Icons, or Menu Folder
  2. Describe Mailing, by entering the required information manually or from an Import
  3. Generate Mailing Plan
  4. Review Mailing Plan
  5. Calculate / Print Labels
  6. Optional: Save, Preview, Finalize
    Save the mailing
    Preview the charges and / or the Statement of Mailing
    Finalize the mailing to identify that it is ready to transmit. Note: this is done automatically when you Transmit.
    Triggering any of these will validate your entries.
  7. Transmit to Canada Post using the Transmit or End of Day menu icons. Transmit automatically saves and finalizes the mailing.
